Nicodim Iacobeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Zafiu in the 9th minute of the match. UFC Sarlotenburg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robin Malmgren in the 10th minute. Florian Penc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aresti Pareja came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernest Drogoreanu could save by the left post. The corner led Fc Otelul Galati's Bogdan Boerescu to a score. 1-0 in the 17th minute. Ernest Drogoreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aresti Pareja's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Aresti Pareja sped through UFC Sarlotenburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernest Drogoreanu. In the 24th minute, Fc Otelul Galati's Florian Penc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Aresti Pareja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Ernest Drogoreanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Ernest Drogoreanu managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Fc Otelul Galati's Aresti Pareja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Fc Otelul Galati getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Florian Penc hit a great ball. Nicodim Iacobeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Arsenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Arsenescu in the 43rd minute of play forced Fc Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nicodim Iacobeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aresti Pareja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Drogoreanu having to interfere.

The wind increased when Aresti Pareja made the kick off in the second half. If Florian Penc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorin Baicu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Penc in the 64th minute of play forced UFC Sarlotenburg's goalkeeper Ernest Drogoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Aresti Pareja got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernest Drogoreanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicodim Iacobeanu made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Lucian Zafiu sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes of play, Fc Otelul Galati's Aresti Pareja made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Drogoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aresti Pareja in the 79th minute of play forced UFC Sarlotenburg's goalkeeper Ernest Drogoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes of play, Fc Otelul Galati's Florian Penc made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Drogoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in UFC Sarlotenburg's zone, Aresti Pareja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Drogoreanu came out of the goal and Aresti Pareja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bogdan Boerescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Alin Baniu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Iacobeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Florian Penc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Otelul Galati's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Penc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Drogoreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucian Zafiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Iacobeanu having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fc Otelul Galati had played much better football throughout.
