Spectators: 7950 (Terracing: 5964, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristian Curuțiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionuț Popescu during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabian Josan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mino Leon. CF Gloria Sieu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nistor Tomescu kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Ionuț Popescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Hurdubețiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandru Stănilă in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Tomescu in the 11th minute of play forced CF Gloria Sieu's goalkeeper Mino Leon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Cristian Curuțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mino Leon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CF Gloria Sieu's Mino Leon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Arce in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to FC Mihaesti getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cristian Curuțiu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in CF Gloria Sieu's zone, Mário Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mino Leon came out of the goal and Mário Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Gabriel Gănescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mino Leon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 28th minute, but Bogdan Hurdubețiu got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC Mihaesti hanging dry this time. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Mihaesti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eugen Oroian was slow to take the kick. During this time CF Gloria Sieu's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, CF Gloria Sieu's Ionuț Popescu got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gigel Boeru struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bogdan Hurdubețiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Gloria Sieu. The supporters of CF Gloria Sieu booed when FC Mihaesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Petruescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. CF Gloria Sieu's Eugen Oroian shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bogdan Hurdubețiu but with some difficulty. FC Mihaesti's Bogdan Hurdubețiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FC Mihaesti from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Arce in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mino Leon saved CF Gloria Sieu from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mário Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mino Leon was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Gigel Boeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandru Stănilă got free with Bogdan Hurdubețiu in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gigel Boeru was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute Mário Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mino Leon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 51 minutes in the game, Mário Arce dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Fabian Josan's late challenge caught a CF Gloria Sieu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Josan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Mihaesti getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fabian Josan hit a great ball. Mino Leon came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Mihaesti's Mário Arce. But to his dismay, Mário Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 64th match minute, FC Mihaesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Sava to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Gănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mino Leon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mino Leon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CF Gloria Sieu booed when FC Mihaesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Petruescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes, Gigel Boeru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Gloria Sieu and the FC Mihaesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gigel Boeru hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Gigel Boeru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Mihaesti's Bogdan Hurdubețiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Boeru in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Hurdubețiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bogdan Hurdubețiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigel Boeru's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Gigel Boeru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Mihaesti's Bogdan Hurdubețiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bogdan Hurdubețiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Stănilă in the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Mihaesti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
