George Buzoianu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manole Hanganu having to make a save. FC Brașov's Manole Hanganu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Buzoianu in the 9th minute of play. Manole Hanganu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Gurlui in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál got control of the ball when De-la-Cruz De la Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Cresencio in the 17th minute of play forced F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Zsigmond Pál to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manole Hanganu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Buzoianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes FC Brașov's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was George Buzoianu who took care of the corner kick. Manole Hanganu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Buzoianu's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 22 minutes, George Buzoianu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Brașov's Manole Hanganu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner ended in Dragoş Balint almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Brașov's Manole Hanganu did a great save. If George Buzoianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute George Buzoianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s George Buzoianu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Anton Baicea kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Efe Ehil came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Brașov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efe Ehil couldn't finish the play. Manole Hanganu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Buzoianu in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when George Buzoianu made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Manole Hanganu managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s George Buzoianu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Alexandre Helsens in the 59th minute of play. FC Brașov's Manole Hanganu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Brașov from getting a goal against them. Iosif Gurlui kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Filip Mihele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Brașov the free kick. Filip Mihele hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Brașov's Efe Ehil got a free kick in the 75th minute. Zsigmond Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
