Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) 4 minutes into the game, Nicolae Iulian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gabriel Honciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nicolae Iulian came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Vaslui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolae Iulian couldn't finish the play. Gheorghe Pietreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The FC Vaslui fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when FC Vaslui's Basarab Bungescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gabriel Honciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Bungescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Honciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolae Iulian went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Gabriel Honciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Iulian in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Basarab Bungescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Vaslui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Gabriel Honciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Agachi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Nicolae Iulian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Honciu. Galsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolae Iulian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Olimpiu Boian kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gabriel Honciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Iulian, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of FC Vaslui booed when Galsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Sângeorzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Panait Agachi made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Galsa's goalkeeper Gabriel Honciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panait Agachi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panait Agachi got free with Gabriel Honciu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolae Marghescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Pietreanu in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panait Agachi got free with Gabriel Honciu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpiu Boian hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Galsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Boian to maneuver through the defense. When FC Vaslui's Panait Agachi, in the 64th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Vaslui. Gheorghe Pietreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galsa's attentive Olimpiu Gavra managed to snatch the ball when Valeriu Geambașu made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, FC Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Boian came free, but Nicolae Marghescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes FC Vaslui's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentin Sângeorzan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Galsa's Valentin Sângeorzan to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolae Marghescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panait Agachi got free with Gabriel Honciu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Honciu made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Basarab Bungescu sent off a good shot on target.
