Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6001, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Denis Dănălache started the match with the kick off. Mugur Robescu made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Fredrik Ljungberg sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Ljungberg got free with Mugur Robescu in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, FC Falciu's Iacob Cocea got a free kick in the 7th minute. Mihail Udrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Paes in the 10th minute of the match. FC bRASOVIA's Mihail Udrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Ozon in the 11th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Genaro Arnas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Falciu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC bRASOVIA the free kick. In the 15th minute, FC Falciu's Genaro Arnas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Genaro Arnas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Falciu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Genaro Arnas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for FC bRASOVIA. Eduard Ciorănescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mugur Robescu. 1-0. Mugur Robescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Gagiu in the 21st minute of play. Mugur Robescu came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC bRASOVIA's Eduard Ciorănescu. But to his dismay, Eduard Ciorănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Ozon in the 27th minute of play forced FC bRASOVIA's goalkeeper Mihail Udrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, FC bRASOVIA's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Ozon came free, but Mihail Udrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Lawrence Taylor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Falciu booed when FC bRASOVIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palle Pillegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Marcus Paes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC bRASOVIA's Mihail Udrea. Mihail Udrea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Șerban Iorda might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mugur Robescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Șerban Iorda ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Paes in the 41st minute of play forced FC bRASOVIA's goalkeeper Mihail Udrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes FC bRASOVIA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Șerban Ozon who took care of the corner kick. Șerban Ozon made a great header on FC Falciu's corner, it was just that FC bRASOVIA's Mihail Udrea managed to reach the ball for a save. Mugur Robescu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Eduard Ciorănescu sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Ljungberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Mugur Robescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Ljungberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of FC bRASOVIA booed when FC Falciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Dănălache didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 minutes FC Falciu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduard Ciorănescu who took care of the corner kick. Mugur Robescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Ljungberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihail Udrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Ozon in the 60th minute of play. If Preslav Kotov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Șerban Ozon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihail Udrea. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. Mihail Udrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Ozon in the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Marcus Paes took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Mihail Udrea to make any attempt to save it. Denis Dănălache's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Mihail Udrea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 83rd minute, Șerban Iorda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Robescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Mugur Robescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Iorda in the 91st minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
