F.C MirCeA's Daniel Roșeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save F.C MirCeA from getting a goal against them. F.C MirCeA's Daniel Roșeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Iulian in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Bungescu in the 10th minute of play forced F.C MirCeA's goalkeeper Daniel Roșeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Roșeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Iulian, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, F.C MirCeA's goalkeeper Daniel Roșeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iacob Tobă. 16 minutes into the match, F.C MirCeA's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Iulian came free, but Daniel Roșeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Neguțu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolae Marghescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. When Panait Agachi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Daniel Roșeanu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the F.C MirCeA defense, Panait Agachi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Roșeanu. The F.C MirCeA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Roșeanu should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Basarab Bungescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Roșeanu. F.C MirCeA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basarab Bungescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. F.C MirCeA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Nicolae Iulian scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Roșeanu, making the score, 5-0. Daniel Roșeanu came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Vaslui's Panait Agachi. But to his dismay, Panait Agachi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Florin Nițoi fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C MirCeA's protests and gave Florin Nițoi a yellow card for diving instead. Florin Nițoi kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Panait Agachi made the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Filip Crețulescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Anton Stroescu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Basarab Bungescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Roșeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Victor Neguțu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C MirCeA and the FC Vaslui players grew even worse after the yellow card.
