After taking down the ball on FC Lutanu's corner Ilie Cazacu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mihail Udrea quite easily take care of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Ljungberg came free, but Irinel Soneriu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was beautiful to see FC Lutanu's Ilie Cazacu in action when he in the 26th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, FC bRASOVIA's Calistrat Brânzaș got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Șerban Iorda made a precise shot to the right of Irinel Soneriu. FC Lutanu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. FC bRASOVIA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Octav Romaşcanu scored to the left of an out of position Mihail Udrea, making the score, 2-1. When Octav Romaşcanu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Lutanu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Romaşcanu couldn't finish the play. Yetkiner Yasun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Mihail Udrea made a huge save. Octav Romaşcanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihail Udrea having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Lutanu fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC bRASOVIA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
