The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Dănălache got free with Narcis Manea in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute of the match Colorado Avalanche got a corner. FC Falciu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogdan Jurăscu was the one to do the kick off. The attack was good, but when Denis Dănălache in the 51st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Colorado Avalanche's Narcis Manea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Şelaru in the 55th minute of play. Mugur Robescu made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Dacian Cosor sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Dănălache in the 67th minute of play forced Colorado Avalanche's goalkeeper Narcis Manea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vit Doro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Falciu's Genaro Arnas got a free kick in the 86th minute. Eduard Tătaru kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Denis Dănălache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Narcis Manea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iacob Cocea hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Bogdan Jurăscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Mugur Robescu made a huge save. There was no doubt that FC Falciu were the better team. FC Falciu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
