Spectators: 8068 (Terracing: 6053, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) FC Falciu's Denis Dănălache started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Poplăcean in the 12th minute of play forced FC Falciu's goalkeeper Mugur Robescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugur Robescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Ganea, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Constantin Mareș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugur Robescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Măgură, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes FC Falciu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mugurel Bărăian who took care of the corner kick. Mugurel Bărăian made a great header on FC Fanaticii's corner, it was just that FC Falciu's Mugur Robescu managed to reach the ball for a save. 27 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Dănălache came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Marius Ganea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fanaticii and the FC Falciu players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Marius Ganea was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. The supporters of FC Falciu booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Ganea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Paes had several of the FC Fanaticii's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Andrei Pavel as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Măgură to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Falciu's Mugur Robescu got control of the ball when Marius Măgură tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Paes struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Andrei Pavel came out of the goal and Denis Dănălache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Denis Dănălache notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel. Andrei Pavel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Şelaru came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Paes in the 95th minute of the match.
