Jan Popowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cazimir Adomniței, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 29 minutes into the match, Minerul Baia Mare's goalkeeper Calistrat Pascaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Bernat. Emilian Apolzan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Calistrat Pascaru made a huge save. Calistrat Pascaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Bernat in the 35th minute of the match. Calistrat Pascaru came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by MINERUL BALAN's Emilian Apolzan. But to his dismay, Emilian Apolzan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 40th minute, MINERUL BALAN's Feliciano Bernat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Calistrat Pascaru. Calistrat Pascaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilian Apolzan got free with Calistrat Pascaru in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cazimir Adomniței stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Minerul Baia Mare's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Apolzan came free, but Calistrat Pascaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, MINERUL BALAN's Feliciano Bernat made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Pascaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calistrat Pascaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tudor Chiose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Pascaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Bernat in the 76th minute of the match. Tudor Chiose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Calistrat Pascaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
