Ronaldinho Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phoenix Alb in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phoenix Alb in the 29th managed to get into a good position. DOROBANTII's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Phoenix Alb scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldinho Sanchez, making the score, 8-0. Mihai Ailincai kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Liviu Vlăsiu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ronaldinho Sanchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MINAS TIRITH. 48 minutes into the match, MINAS TIRITH's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Bitang came free, but Niculae Dudău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phoenix Alb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phoenix Alb in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldinho Sanchez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Vinciguerra lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave MINAS TIRITH a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phoenix Alb in the 75th minute of play forced DOROBANTII's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Sanchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MINAS TIRITH booed when DOROBANTII was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Ailincai didn't get a good kick on the ball. MINAS TIRITH were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after DOROBANTII's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Phoenix Alb took the corner. There was no doubt that MINAS TIRITH were the better team. MINAS TIRITH's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
