When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Yin Li Ying took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aurelian Ştiubei to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Pavel Cezar made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Eintracht Cernavoda's Nechifor Ibrișin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelian Ştiubei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Aurelian Ştiubei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Li Ying in the 54th minute of play. FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yin Li Ying in the 56th minute of play. After 58 played minutes FC Buciumii got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Slătineanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Li Ying in the 67th minute of play forced FC Buciumii's goalkeeper Aurelian Ştiubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikael Isak took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelian Ştiubei. Aurelian Ştiubei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 88th minute, Flavius Stanciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 played minutes FC Buciumii got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Răducu. The audience was convinced that Codrin Izbașa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelian Ştiubei was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
