In the 23rd minute, Ramiro Paul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Ştiubei was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Aurelian Ştiubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvatore Schillaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Millrick in the 27th minute of play forced FC Buciumii's goalkeeper Aurelian Ştiubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Paul in the 29th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavel Cezar to make the kick off. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Traian Acalinei helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute of the match Marin Bosânceanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelian Ştiubei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Ramiro Paul put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelian Ştiubei. In the 89th minute, Marco Millrick made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Ştiubei. FC Buciumii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Millrick in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Ramiro Paul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelian Ştiubei. FC Buciumii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Paul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peretu City 09 had played much better football throughout.
