Gigel Zăvoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Suleiman Süleyman's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Marco Millrick took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gigel Zăvoiu to make any attempt to save it. When MasterBets's Marius Macovei in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peretu City 09's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute Mihnea Arnăuțoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Costăchescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MasterBets's Vedat Tuğlu was substituted for Ramiro Marin. In the 17th minute Peretu City 09 were awarded a corner. Marin Bosânceanu went to the cornerflag to take it. Marin Bosânceanu made a great header on Peretu City 09's corner, it was just that MasterBets's Gigel Zăvoiu managed to reach the ball for a save. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Macovei, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Marius Macovei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Peretu City 09's Suleiman Süleyman in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MasterBets's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Macovei in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Toldo saved Peretu City 09 from getting behind. Gigel Zăvoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Suleiman Süleyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Peretu City 09's Israel Jakobe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Israel Jakobe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Peretu City 09 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Israel Jakobe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 37th match minute, Peretu City 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Jakobe to maneuver through the defense. Alekos Kotsanakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Suleiman Süleyman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peretu City 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Suleiman Süleyman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gigel Zăvoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suleiman Süleyman in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Marius Macovei notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Peretu City 09's Francesco Toldo. Francesco Toldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The wind increased when Marius Macovei made the kick off in the second half. Gigel Zăvoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Millrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigel Zăvoiu came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Peretu City 09's Suleiman Süleyman. But to his dismay, Suleiman Süleyman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Peretu City 09 booed when MasterBets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Röd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Zăvoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suleiman Süleyman in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Costăchescu in the 66th minute of play forced Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Marius Macovei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, Marius Macovei tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francesco Toldo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 77 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Macovei came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Macovei in the 78th minute of play forced Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Peretu City 09 got a corner. MasterBets's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marin Bosânceanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ramiro Paul got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-1. 84 minutes into the match. MasterBets's Gigel Zăvoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Alcântara in the 88th minute of play. Ştefan Buhăescu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Gigel Zăvoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Alcântara in the 92nd minute of play. Thiago Alcântara scored 5-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Zăvoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MasterBets's Jacinto Oso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ştefan Buhăescu in the 95 minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the MasterBets players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peretu City 09.
