The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ionică Corcoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Torouţ in the 5th minute of play. Leontin Omescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Isak, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM-'s Jeremy Wenderickx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the match, PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Stanciu came free, but Leontin Omescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisc Mălaimare hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Philip Walter was slow to take the kick. During this time Eintracht Cernavoda's players had a chance to rest. In the 37th minute, Filip Pantiș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eintracht Cernavoda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Leontin Omescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Isak, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Leontin Omescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Isak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yin Li Ying was the one to do the kick off. Filip Pantiș came free with the goalkeeper in the 50th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leontin Omescu could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Torouţ in the 55th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Mikael Isak scored to the left of an out of position Leontin Omescu, making the score, 1-3. Leontin Omescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavius Stanciu in the 61st minute. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Inculeț in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Joel Dopacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM-'s Leontin Omescu got control of the ball when Filip Pantiș tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Inculeț came free, but Ionică Corcoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Dopacio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM-'s Joel Dopacio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Leontin Omescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ioan Ortacu. Ionică Corcoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Wenderickx in the 77th minute of play. Ionică Corcoveanu came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM-'s Traian Torouţ. But to his dismay, Traian Torouţ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Codrin Izbașa fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eintracht Cernavoda's protests and gave Codrin Izbașa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM- booed when Eintracht Cernavoda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Izbașa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Inculeț in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionică Corcoveanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Traian Torouţ ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionică Corcoveanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM- succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Eintracht Cernavoda had controlled the match.
