Arminas Kiudulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Oardă, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Damian Gugea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Delta83 Tulcea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Gugea in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Gaitan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ziemowit Olchowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute Ziemowit Olchowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UM Timisoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Cârlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
