Spectators: 8417 (Terracing: 6313, Seating: 1936, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mugur Hosu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Octav Dănășel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Porumbescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Porumbescu took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octav Dănășel. Octav Dănășel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Politehnica Iasi's Tiberiu Dulgherescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octav Dănășel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 13th minute Mugur Hosu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Feteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rova Rosiori defense, Silviu Zburliş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octav Dănășel. The Rova Rosiori fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octav Dănășel should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviu Zburliş in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octav Dănășel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiberiu Dulgherescu scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octav Dănășel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octav Dănășel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Zburliş in the 29th minute of the match. Silviu Zburliş scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octav Dănășel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute Iosif Porumbescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Dănășel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rova Rosiori's Marin Baniciu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Octav Dănășel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Zburliş in the 35th minute of the match. Octav Dănășel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiberiu Dulgherescu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Iosif Porumbescu made a precise shot to the right of Octav Dănășel. Rova Rosiori's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 57th match minute, Politehnica Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Zburliş to maneuver through the defense. Octav Dănășel came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Politehnica Iasi's Iosif Porumbescu. But to his dismay, Iosif Porumbescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 62nd match minute, Politehnica Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Porumbescu to maneuver through the defense. Rova Rosiori's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Stelian Encioiu scored to the left of an out of position Octav Dănășel, making the score, 0-10. Tiberiu Dulgherescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Octav Dănășel made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, Silviu Zburliş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octav Dănășel. Silviu Zburliş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. In the 73rd minute Iosif Porumbescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Dănășel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Rova Rosiori's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Porumbescu came free, but Octav Dănășel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Zburliş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Octav Dănășel made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Silviu Zburliş kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Octav Dănășel. That made the score 0-14 in the 85 minute of play. Octav Dănășel made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Iosif Porumbescu sent off a good shot on target. Octav Dănășel came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Politehnica Iasi's Iosif Porumbescu. But to his dismay, Iosif Porumbescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. Tiberiu Dulgherescu in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Octav Dănășel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 93 minutes into the game, Iosif Porumbescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Octav Dănășel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Politehnica Iasi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
