Emilian Feteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Traian Muja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silviu Zburliş in the 23rd minute. Dumitru Ababei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emilian Feteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Henger ATI booed when Politehnica Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Zburliş didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cosmin Rădescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Feteanu was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Eric Croitoru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Dumitru Ababei managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Henger ATI's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Ababei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilian Feteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ernest Cumpanașu made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Ernest Cumpanașu from a close distance when the talented Emilian Feteanu managed to make a qualified save. Politehnica Iasi's players were relieved. Ernest Cumpanașus short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Emilian Feteanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ernest Cumpanașu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Emilian Feteanu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ernest Cumpanașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88thth minute of the game Marin Năsturel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Politehnica Iasi's Emilian Feteanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes, Marin Năsturel made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Politehnica Iasi's Emilian Feteanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Silviu Zburliş made a precise shot to the right of Traian Muja. FC Henger ATI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. 96 minutes into the match, Politehnica Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Rădescu came free, but Emilian Feteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
