Toader Bran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Burdujan in the 15th minute of the match. Dorin Orghidan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Bobei in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match, Sever Pâslaru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dorin Orghidan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute CRAIOVA JUNIOR were awarded a corner. Emil Giurăscu went to the cornerflag to take it. Teodor Lamru was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Iustinian Burdujan's late challenge caught a CRAIOVA JUNIOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iustinian Burdujan helped the player get up and apologised. Iustinian Burdujan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lucrețiu Bobei's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dorin Orghidan firmly grabbed it by the left post. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Emil Giurăscu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dorin Orghidan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Lucrețiu Bobei got a free kick in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucrețiu Bobei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorin Orghidan. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Toader Bran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Burdujan in the 33rd minute of the match. Balaceanu UFC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after CRAIOVA JUNIOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcu Tomoioagă took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goalie and right to Lv Rong. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 39 minutes into the match, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Burdujan came free, but Toader Bran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 42nd minute, but Dorin Orghidan got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Balaceanu UFC hanging dry this time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucrețiu Bobei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Lucrețiu Bobei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Orghidan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Toader Bran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Harrison in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Kaká de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balaceanu UFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
