Spectators: 8544 (Terracing: 6409, Seating: 1965, VIP seats: 170) White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Astor Haimar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Costică Chiriloaie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Codruț Hanganu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Gang Jian in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Eduard Crăcană cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Codruț Hanganu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute Eduard Crăcană shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Costică Chiriloaie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Codruț Hanganu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costin Giugiuc made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Astor Haimar sent off a good shot on target. Astor Haimar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Costin Giugiuc made a huge save. With a little luck, A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc got control of the ball when Astor Haimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costin Giugiuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Haimar in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Costică Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, A.C. Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Nichita to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Astor Haimar lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Costin Giugiuc. Mugurel Nediu came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Costin Giugiuc could save by the left post. After 43 played minutes White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Berbiz. After 44 played minutes, A.C. Milan's Flavius Dragotescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Codruț Hanganu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.C. Milan reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Mugurel Nediu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costin Giugiuc. That made the score 2-1 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Costin Giugiuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Haimar in the 59th minute of play. Costin Giugiuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Nediu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Haimar in the 61st minute of play forced A.C. Milan's goalkeeper Costin Giugiuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after A.C. Milan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Berbiz took the corner. Costin Giugiuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Balint in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Flavius Dragotescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Carlos Berbiz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc didn't even have to move. 72 minutes into the match, A.C. Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Haimar came free, but Costin Giugiuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Mugurel Nediu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Giugiuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugurel Nediu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Haimar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Codruț Hanganu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costică Chiriloaie in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Sánchez in the 82nd minute of play forced A.C. Milan's goalkeeper Costin Giugiuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.C. Flavius Dragotescu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Berbiz in the 85th minute of play forced A.C. After having played for 87 minutes, Eduard Crăcană managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Crăcană was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costin Giugiuc came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s He Gang Jian. But to his dismay, He Gang Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 91 played minutes White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Zhou Chao Yu. 95 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Costică Chiriloaie came free, but Codruț Hanganu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Juanjo Carreño hit a great ball. Costică Chiriloaie in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Codruț Hanganu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
