Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Lamru in the 11th minute of play. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Toader Bran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CRAIOVA JUNIOR from getting a goal against them. Aurelian Coporan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Bobei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toader Bran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Toader Bran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergiu Coșeriu. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Pâslaru in the 22nd minute of play. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Toader Bran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Ionete in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by CRAIOVA JUNIOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toader Bran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aurelian Coporan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Pâslaru in the 40th minute of play. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Bobei in the 42nd minute of play. Toader Bran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Păvăloae in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucrețiu Bobei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Sever Pâslaru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurelian Coporan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 51st minute, Sever Pâslaru made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Coporan. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Rio's zone, Pavel Popeneciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Coporan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Pâslaru in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Sever Pâslaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Coporan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelian Coporan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Lamru in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Lucrețiu Bobei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelian Coporan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sergiu Coșeriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toader Bran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Nedelciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sergiu Coșeriu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucrețiu Bobeis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Aurelian Coporan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Toader Bran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Păvăloae in the 77th minute of the match. Sergiu Coșeriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sever Pâslaru had several of the Academia Rio's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Aurelian Coporan as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 86th minute, Teodor Lamru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Academia Rio booed when CRAIOVA JUNIOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Țâpu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dumitru Pantelimon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Bran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th minute Sergiu Coșeriu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Bran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CRAIOVA JUNIOR getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mihail Agârbiceanu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dumitru Pantelimon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Rio's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Pantelimon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Bran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
