The wind increased when Edoardo Marcucci made the kick off in the second half. Vlad Miniș who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Teofilo Batista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teofilo Batista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Ponte's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Unirea Castelul Nou's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Miniș came free, but Teofilo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aquilino Ponte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Batista was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game.
