When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Valentin Alexe took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Radu Domide to make any attempt to save it. Radu Domide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 25th minute Ciprian Eniceicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cazimir Diaconu during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cazimir Diaconu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciprian Eniceicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciprian Eniceicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Batista having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Unirea Castelul Nou got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Cernat. Ciprian Eniceicu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Teofilo Batista 55 minutes into the match. Ciprian Eniceicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Batista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciprian Eniceicu ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Unirea Castelul Nou's Teofilo Batista got control of the ball when Ciprian Eniceicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unirea Castelul Nou's Teofilo Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Unirea Castelul Nou from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Sabin Macovei got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teofilo Batista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Teofilo Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Macovei in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes Unirea Castelul Nou's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Davide Frattesi who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Davide Frattesi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Unirea Castelul Nou's Teofilo Batista did a great save. After some careless play in the Milan Futuro defense, Cătălin Bebeșel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radu Domide. The Milan Futuro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radu Domide should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Emil Sângeorzan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Milan Futuro getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Szabolcs Temesvári hit a great ball.
