Andrei Alexandrescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Silviu Popan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacy Konopka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silviu Popan. That made the score 1-4 in the 66 minute of play. If Ioan Hârlab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute.
