The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leontin Racoviceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Stallone in the 3rd minute of play. Ionel Coporan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Şerb in the 6th minute of play. Ionel Coporan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Burca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Damian Şerb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Coporan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionel Coporan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Burca in the 11th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, Romania's Toader Burca made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Coporan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Harau AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Burca came free, but Ionel Coporan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toader Spirache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Coporan having to interfere. Laurențiu Meleșcanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Toader Spirache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Coporan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romania's Leontin Racoviceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Romania from getting a goal against them. Leontin Racoviceanu made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Primitivo Lixandro sent off a good shot on target. Ionel Coporan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Şerb in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Primitivo Lixandro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leontin Racoviceanu. The goal made the score 1-1.

Harau AFC's Max Lundström got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Harau AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Burca came free, but Ionel Coporan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Toader Spirache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Harau AFC's Primitivo Lixandro got a free kick in the 64th minute. Damian Şerb's late challenge caught a Harau AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Şerb helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Romania got a freekick which was hit by Damian Şerb. The supporters of Harau AFC booed when Romania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Chificeac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harau AFC's Ionel Coporan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Harau AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Harau AFC booed when Romania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Spirache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Şerb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ionel Coporan made a huge save. In the 82nd match minute, Romania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Ghinescu to maneuver through the defense.
