Fc Lothlorien's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Vermeşan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Emerald's Victor Piţurcă to fire away a dangerous shot which Iustin Lupescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Fc Lothlorien's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Condrea came free, but Iustin Lupescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes, Emerald's Gabriel Vermeşan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iustin Lupescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Emerald reached it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Piţurcă to strike the kick off in the second half. Iustin Lupescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Victor Piţurcă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Iustin Lupescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emerald's attentive Ioan Logofătu managed to snatch the ball when Petre Gheorghe made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. After 88 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Logofătu.
