Petr Kladiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Petr Kladiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Galo van Basten's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Galo van Basten in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Kladiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Soimusul AFC's Gigi Otopeanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Iurașcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute of the match, Gigi Otopeanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aron Iurașcu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Keep Walking Project's Aron Iurașcu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Keep Walking Project from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Soimusul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Galo van Basten came free, but Petr Kladiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Kladiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galo van Basten in the 30th minute of play. With his leg Aron Iurașcu managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Soimusul AFC's Gigi Otopeanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Soimusul AFC's Petr Kladiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Soimusul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Messi came free, but Petr Kladiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes Soimusul AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lionel-Andrés Messi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Keep Walking Project's Lionel-Andrés Messi to fire away a dangerous shot which Petr Kladiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 39th minute, Calistrat Albu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aron Iurașcu. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 43rd minute Lionel-Andrés Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Kladiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Kladiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Soimusul AFC defense, Lionel-Andrés Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petr Kladiva. The Soimusul AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petr Kladiva should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute of the match, Lionel-Andrés Messi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petr Kladiva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 57 minutes of play, Soimusul AFC's Costin Albulescu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aron Iurașcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! George Andronic hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Soimusul AFC's goalkeeper Petr Kladiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi. 65 minutes into the match, Soimusul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Galo van Basten came free, but Petr Kladiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Albu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aron Iurașcu having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Keep Walking Project's Galo van Basten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Kladiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Otopeanu in the 73rd minute of play forced Keep Walking Project's goalkeeper Aron Iurașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Galo van Basten in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Kladiva saved Soimusul AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Keep Walking Project booed when Soimusul AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Mascovescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Galo van Basten took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Petr Kladiva to make any attempt to save it. 88 minutes into the match, Soimusul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Messi came free, but Petr Kladiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Kladiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galo van Basten in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Alcalde in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Iurașcu saved Keep Walking Project from getting behind. Soimusul AFC's Romeo Dijmărescu was substituted for Calistrat Albu. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Keep Walking Project eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
