The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, FC Panat's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Odol came free, but Dimitris Charalambopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Baldomero Odol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Panat's Dimitris Charalambopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorne Volders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Bourceanu in the 12th minute of play. Baldomero Odol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Dimitris Charalambopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cezar Bourceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorne Volders having to interfere. If Cezar Bourceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, FC Panat's goalkeeper Dimitris Charalambopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Odol. Baldomero Odol struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Dimitris Charalambopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracan United -MM-. With a little luck, FC Panat's Dimitris Charalambopoulos got control of the ball when Baldomero Odol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorne Volders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match FC Panat got a corner. Huracan United -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Folke Hasselqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Cezar Bourceanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorne Volders was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oihan Zadaya got free with Dimitris Charalambopoulos in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lode Vermeiren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jorne Volders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Aristide Doicaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Odol got free with Dimitris Charalambopoulos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iulian Romanescu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Huracan United -MM-'s Marin Domuță was substituted for Baldomero Odol. Dimitris Charalambopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oihan Zadaya in the 53rd minute of play. Dimitris Charalambopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oihan Zadaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Marin Domuță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Charalambopoulos was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Panat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iraklis Pistolelis was slow to take the kick. During this time Huracan United -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Doicaru in the 70th minute of play forced FC Panat's goalkeeper Dimitris Charalambopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Huracan United -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Yu Fei Ying. After 76 played minutes FC Panat got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Drăgănoiu. Dimitris Charalambopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Domuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Cezar Bourceanu took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Jorne Volders to make any attempt to save it. FC Panat's Panait Moșneanu was substituted for Cezar Bourceanu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marin Domuță in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Charalambopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 minutes, Suat Okman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Panat and the Huracan United -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, FC Panat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suat Okman to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Yu Fei Ying hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Panat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
