Cristian Răchiteanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniel Jienescu could save by the left post. Olimpiu Giuverdea scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Jienescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Michal Murdza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapiduletzu's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Murdza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Jienescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Rapiduletzu's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Oprescu came free, but Gabriel Medeleanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Octav Stoicescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Pedro Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Medeleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Rapiduletzu got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Ticulescu. Daniel Jienescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Giuverdea in the 28th minute of play. Daniel Jienescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Rednic in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rapiduletzu's Olimpiu Giuverdea got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Panait Bujor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Medeleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Medeleanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Stoicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cristian Răchiteanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Jienescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Răchiteanu made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Oprescu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Medeleanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute Nando Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Jienescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Răchiteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GoalHunters's goalie and right to Leontin Rednic. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GoalHunters's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 64 minutes into the match, Rapiduletzu's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Jerrold came free, but Gabriel Medeleanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GoalHunters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vintilă Vâtcu in the 66th minute. Vintilă Vâtcu made a great header on GoalHunters's corner, it was just that Rapiduletzu's Gabriel Medeleanu managed to reach the ball for a save. Gabriel Medeleanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Jerrold went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 1-2 became the score in the 93rd minute when Denis Oprescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Rapiduletzu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GoalHunters's performance. The match ended with a win for GoalHunters.
