Nae Hurmuzache took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Hojbota. Isac Hojbota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The corner led to FC Politehnica Timisoara's Nicolae Nicoliță getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. FC GURZUN were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after FC Politehnica Timisoara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joakim Andersson took the corner. Isac Hojbota came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC GURZUN's Nikolas Kafkalas. But to his dismay, Nikolas Kafkalas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The wind increased when Nikolas Kafkalas made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes FC GURZUN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Crușeveanu who took care of the corner kick. If Ettore Madaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute.
