Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Arghirescu in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Hojbota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isac Hojbota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Urdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 18th minute, Gavino Urdin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd minute Cosmin Urdăreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Hojbota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Rizea took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hannes Albäck. Hannes Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Isac Hojbota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Arghirescu in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes FC Politehnica Timisoara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cosmin Urdăreanu who took care of the corner kick. Vintilă Bălășescu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Isac Hojbota. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Gavino Urdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Hojbota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Urdin came free, but Isac Hojbota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Dan Arghirescu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota. Isac Hojbota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernest Manea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Hannes Albäck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hannes Albäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Rizea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Arghirescu during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Dan Arghirescu got a free kick in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Urdin to make the kick off. If Cosmin Urdăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Hannes Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Manea in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Ernest Manea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renos Papageorgiou in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timmy Deckbergh during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timmy Deckbergh hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Hannes Albäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernest Manea went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Hakan Şükür was substituted for Olimpiu Rizea. In the 89th minute, Ernest Manea made a precise shot to the right of Hannes Albäck. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
