Călin Bolborici's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dinu Oardă firmly grabbed it by the left post. Radu Tarchilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Lucila, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, SuperDepor's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Frumușanu came free, but Radu Tarchilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. Radu Tarchilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Lucila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rareș Elian who took care of the corner kick. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Comăneci in the 26th minute of the match. Radu Tarchilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Lucila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinu Oardă made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Călin Bolborici sent off a good shot on target. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's attentive Mihăiţă Moisil managed to snatch the ball when Vintilă Lupeanu made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Comăneci in the 43rd minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes SuperDepor got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Anghel. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustinian Comăneci to make the kick off. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Bolborici in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Ernest Oprescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 66 minutes, Sabin Săvulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuperDepor and the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sabin Săvulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SuperDepor's zone, Ernest Oprescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Tarchilă came out of the goal and Ernest Oprescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Comăneci came free, but Dinu Oardă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute SuperDepor were awarded a corner. Rareș Elian went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 85th minute Victor Lucila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Tarchilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Frumușanu in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radu Tarchilă saved SuperDepor from getting behind. Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Bolborici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vintilă Lupeanu, made in the 92nd minute of the game. Răzvan Anghel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
