Fabian Lucescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Frumușanu in the 2nd minute of the match. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ernest Oprescu in the 3rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Olimpiu Semeghin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Chris Chevalier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dinu Oardă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Lucila's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabian Lucescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Borza in the 12th minute of play. Fabian Lucescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Frumușanu in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chevaliers FC's Chris Chevalier got a free kick in the 18th minute. Fabian Lucescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Frumușanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Petrică Luncaniță kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fabian Lucescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Oprescu in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Frumușanu in the 29th minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Fabian Lucescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Lucila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Fabian Lucescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Hagi in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Lucila got free with Fabian Lucescu in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Liviu Frumușanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Lucescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Borza in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinu Oardă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Radu Borza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinu Oardă was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Olimpiu Semeghin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Dinu Oardă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Gurgui, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 47th minute, Sorin Gurgui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chevaliers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radu Borza to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Lucila in the 58th minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Fabian Lucescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Lucila struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Fabian Lucescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Lucila in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Lucescu saved Chevaliers FC from getting behind. Victor Lucila scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Lucescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Victor Lucila sped through Chevaliers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Lucescu. In the 82ndth minute of the game Victor Lucila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chevaliers FC's Fabian Lucescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Liviu Frumușanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Lucila took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Lucescu. Fabian Lucescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV had won after a very even match.
