Ciprian Tătăruşanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, AC Milan Tigers's Costin Ciorobîtcă got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ciprian Tătăruşanu. Martin Răuţă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Tătăruşanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The Maramures-MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC Milan Tigers's performance. The match ended with a win for AC Milan Tigers.
