In the 45th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurence Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Christoffel Bracke was substituted for Özalp Erdönmez. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sorin Logofătu was the one to do the kick off. Guilherme Basso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Murphy having to interfere. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 90 played minutes Lucrețiu Ghimiș rounded TrX's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After 95 played minutes ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 got a freekick which was hit by Nils Helberg. In the 96th minute of the match Basarab Dobrica shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timo Courtois showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
