Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Emander ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Viola Invest's corner Tobias Emander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Timo Courtois quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Lucrețiu Ghimiș took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dumitru Doloman to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute Kuuno Tälli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuuno Tälli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Ghimiș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dumitru Doloman made a huge save. Dumitru Doloman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Mihălțan to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Irinel Tatomir made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Gabrielsson came free, but Timo Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Ghimiș in the 64th minute of the match. Dumitru Doloman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Tatomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Dumitru Doloman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucrețiu Ghimiș's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Timo Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Jakobe in the 97th minute.
