Leonard Aanuţei started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Fantasia in the 5th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Gheorghe Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 7 minutes on the clock, Teodor Ştiubei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in TrX fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! TrX:s Laurence Murphy showed great skill when he stopped Emil Strugure:s penalty. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lucian Dejeu hit a great ball. If Felipe Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, TrX's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Balaban came free, but Laurence Murphy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Baldovin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Iraitz in the 24th minute of the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Buzău's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basarab Dobrica was slow to take the kick. During this time TrX's players had a chance to rest. After 32 minutes FC Buzău's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Basarab Dobrica who took care of the corner kick. In the 35th minute Felipe Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Baldovin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TrX's Basarab Dobrica was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gheorghe Baldovin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Edinson Cavani came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Buzău fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinson Cavani couldn't finish the play.

TrX's Laurence Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Strugure in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Emil Strugure made a precise shot to the right of Laurence Murphy. TrX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Laurence Murphy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Aanuţei, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ştefan Trif hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Basarab Dobrica shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gheorghe Baldovin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Augustin Cernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gheorghe Baldovin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Fantasia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurence Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Strugure in the 75th minute of the match. Francesco Fantasia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gheorghe Baldovin came out and tried to block the shot, but Francesco Fantasia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 77th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Traian Balaban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buzău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Balaban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gheorghe Baldovin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Gârneț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute TrX were awarded a corner. Basarab Dobrica went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Cavani in the 90th minute of play forced TrX's goalkeeper Laurence Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, TrX's Sorin Logofătu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Vintilă Stoicea kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, TrX's Francesco Fantasia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. TrX had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
