Emanuel Baldu came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Gabor could save by the left post. In the 18th minute, Ilie Răduleț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Gabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Francho in the 21st minute of the match. If Eric Păvăloae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vlad Vrânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute Emanuel Baldu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Gabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Sixto Francho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emil Gabor, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Francho to make the kick off. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Emil Gabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Francho in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Francho came free, but Emil Gabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Sixto Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Gabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s goalkeeper Vlad Vrânceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Păvăloae. The coaching staff of Ninjas in Pyjamas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mihnea Iosub had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 61 minutes into the game, one of Ninjas in Pyjamas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vlad Vrânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Eric Păvăloae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vlad Vrânceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Laurențiu Loghin fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninjas in Pyjamas's protests and gave Laurențiu Loghin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ★RO★ NEW VISION ® booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Loghin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Gabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Azibar in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Costin Cârneci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilie Răduleț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
