An unexpectedly hard shot by Hitzeder Manrique in the 16th minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Emil Gabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Gabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hitzeder Manrique, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Mihail Văcărescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Eric Păvăloae notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of AFC Barcelona's 魏奕迪. 魏奕迪 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eric Păvăloae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 魏奕迪 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After the first half Ninjas in Pyjamas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 63 minutes, Mihail Văcărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Ninjas in Pyjamas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
