The Huns's Vintilă Murgu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save The Huns from getting a goal against them. The Huns's attentive George Ghionea managed to snatch the ball when Marius Stolnicu made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. Samet Mert spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of The Huns's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Sântimbrean in the 18th minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to The Huns getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Miroslaw Pazura hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samet Mert got free with Vintilă Murgu in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronan McCunn to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronan McCunn was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. The Huns's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Huns's Nicholas Ramachandran got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vintilă Murgu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Stolnicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Tudor Sântimbrean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vintilă Murgu was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Sebastian Bungeanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 84th minute, Tadeusz Redisz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Bungeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan McCunn in the 85th minute of the match.
