Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Virgiliu Cerbu kicked off to start the match. Boris Delinschi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Valera Pânzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valera Pânzaru took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Burduja. Vladimir Burduja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Valera Pânzaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vladimir Burduja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Blajin struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Victor Comerzan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alunis. 22 minutes into the game, Boris Delinschi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VULCAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alunis the free kick. A collision led to VULCAN getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Boris Delinschi hit a great ball. Vladimir Burduja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valera Pânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valera Pânzaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir Burduja having to make a save. Iurie Cimpoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Vladimir Burduja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Blajin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Comerzan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Liviu Blajin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alunis's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Blajin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Comerzan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, VULCAN's goalkeeper Victor Comerzan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Blajin. In the 43rd minute Alunis were awarded a corner. Emil Apostol went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Alunis's corner Emil Apostol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victor Comerzan quite easily take care of the ball. After 45 played minutes Alunis got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Ilie. After the first half VULCAN were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute of the match VULCAN got a corner. Alunis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mihai Dadu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vladimir Burduja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liviu Crudu in the 56th minute. Virgiliu Cerbu struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Victor Comerzan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alunis. After a rather tough play, VULCAN's Boris Delinschi got a free kick in the 64th minute. Valera Pânzaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Burduja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Virgiliu Cerbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Comerzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Virgiliu Cerbu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alunis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgiliu Cerbu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vlad Vârtosu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Alunis's Liviu Blajin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Comerzan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Virgiliu Cerbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Virgiliu Cerbu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Comerzan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Liviu Blajin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alunis walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
