The shot was a little too simple and Lucian Izmanã could save by the left post. 42 minutes into the game, Abdulkadir Karabey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bolduresti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strãseni the free kick. After 43 played minutes FC Bolduresti got a freekick which was hit by Abdulkadir Karabey. Lucian Izmanã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Dimitriu in the 46th minute. Strãseni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruslan Buga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Strãseni's zone, Liviu Caraman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Streche came out of the goal and Liviu Caraman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Liviu Caraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Macovei during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes, Strãseni's Ruslan Buga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucian Izmanã came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Strãseni reached it. Denis Enicov's late challenge caught a Strãseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Enicov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Bolduresti's Denis Enicov got a free kick in the 91st minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Strãseni were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Bolduresti for much of the match.
