Daniel Costin might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marin Vartic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simion Cecan came out of the goal and Ciprian Toma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simion Cecan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Afteni in the 10th minute of play. Marin Vartic was a little too slow when Stefan Tâbuleac got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 16th minute, Stefan Tâbuleac fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marin Vartic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Tâbuleac, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Ciprian Toma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihail Afteni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simion Cecan having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Tâbuleac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Daniel Costin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marin Vartic was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Cãuseni FCA were furious when Emil Luncasu was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Cãuseni FCA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cimislia:s goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cãuseni FCA's Nicu Bumbu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Marin Vartic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Tâbuleac in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the game, Eugen Carp landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurel Crudu during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, Stefan Tâbuleac notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cãuseni FCA's Marin Vartic. Marin Vartic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cimislia had won after a very even match.
