After a rather tough play, Youth Team MD's Denis Braga got a free kick in the 4th minute. Cristian Barbãneagrã scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Epureanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victor Epureanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Barbãneagrã, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Mircea Mereutã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Epureanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CODRU's Eduard Ilies got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Mereutã in the 19th minute of play forced Youth Team MD's goalkeeper Victor Epureanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CODRU's Gicu Doibani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save CODRU from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Youth Team MD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Arnãut to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Mircea Mereutã managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CODRU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mircea Mereutã was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Cristian Barbãneagrã left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CODRU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cristian Josan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gicu Doibani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CODRU's Gicu Doibani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Cerbu in the 35th minute of play. Gicu Doibani acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vladimir Inculet. If Cristian Barbãneagrã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Cristian Barbãneagrã fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Epureanu having to interfere. Tudor Cerbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gicu Doibani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Epureanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Barbãneagrã in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Youth Team MD's Denis Braga got a free kick in the 65th minute. Gicu Doibani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Cerbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Youth Team MD booed when CODRU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cãtãlin Bold didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes of play CODRU's Viorel Condraciuc was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Viorel Condraciuc kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Victor Epureanu made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cristian Barbãneagrã sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Barbãneagrã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Cerbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gicu Doibani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CODRU walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
