To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Vlad Creangã's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lilian Stegaru was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the game, one of Toceni FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 72 played minutes Toceni FC got a freekick which was hit by Dan Isac. Vlad Creangã struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Lilian Stegaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cornell University. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigore Gonta in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lilian Stegaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toceni FC's Lilian Stegaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Gonta in the 97th minute of play.
