Sorocolet's Grigore Dimitriu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidiu Lazãr in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vlad Pricop during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute Nicolae Perju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Timofte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Lazãr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Volontir, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sorocolet's zone, Constantin Platon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonid Tabãrã ran back to his position shaking his head. Vlad Volontir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonid Tabãrã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Timofte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valera Vulpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantin Platon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolae Perju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Stefan Timofte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Constantin Platon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Timofte. Constantin Platon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3.
