The crowd rose to their feet as Valera Vulpe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrei Proca. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 7th minute, Vladimir Proca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidiu Lazãr was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Igor Plop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Frasin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Vasilitã to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Frasin's Andrei Proca got control of the ball when Nicolae Perju tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimir Proca might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidiu Lazãr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimir Proca ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Plop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Highlanders's zone, Vladimir Proca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Lazãr came out of the goal and Vladimir Proca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Plop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantin Platon struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Andrei Proca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Highlanders. Vladimir Proca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vladimir Proca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Constantin Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Proca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Cãldare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frasin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Highlanders the free kick. Gheorghe Cãldare hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Constantin Platon made the kick off in the second half. If Nicolae Perju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Highlanders's Ovidiu Lazãr got control of the ball when Victor Vasilitã tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gheorghe Cãldare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Vladimir Proca in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Highlanders's zone, Vladimir Proca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Lazãr came out of the goal and Vladimir Proca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Frasin's Vladimir Proca got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Frasin booed when FC Highlanders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrea Speianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Vasilitã kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovidiu Lazãr. That made the score 1-3 in the 97 minute of play.
