After 7 minutes of play, ФК Сельхозтехника's Anatolie Colesnic made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mircea Tâmbalari was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Botu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcel Bold firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mircea Tâmbalari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Burlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mircea Tâmbalari came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by ФК Сельхозтехника's Marcel Cernei. But to his dismay, Marcel Cernei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. FC Leova's Dan Pãduret suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Marcel Bold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Botu went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Radu Burlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Tâmbalari having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Constantin Pesmet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Leova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Pesmet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Radu Burlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eugeniusz Sokolski made the kick off in the second half. FC Leova's Mircea Tâmbalari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Leova from getting a goal against them. Ciprian Braga hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Eugeniusz Sokolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Sokolski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Bold. ФК Сельхозтехника's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Sokolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Constantin Pesmet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Marcel Bold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radu Burlea kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Constantin Pesmet managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Leova's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Pesmet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Bold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Leova getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Valentin Pârlea hit a great ball. Radu Burlea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Mircea Tâmbalari made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Anton Botu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Leova's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Botu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Bold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petru Vasiliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Leova had won after a very even match.
