If Eugen Izãreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Cricaul FC's goalkeeper Remus Antonoae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mircea Coadã. 11 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Briceag was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Tavirlau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cricaul FC the free kick. In the 11th minute, Ovidiu Briceag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugen Brãgutã stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iacob Constantin's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Eugen Brãgutã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Constantin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vali Neaga struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Eugen Brãgutã didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cricaul FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Constantin in the 38th minute of play forced UFC Tavirlau's goalkeeper Eugen Brãgutã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vali Neaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugen Brãgutã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Neaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 49th minute of the match Cricaul FC got a corner. UFC Tavirlau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Corneliu Georgescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dragos Cozma got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugen Brãgutã quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugen Izãreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cricaul FC's Iurie Onofrei got a free kick in the 56th minute. Remus Antonoae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mircea Coadã's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Remus Antonoae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Izãreanu in the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iacob Constantin in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugen Brãgutã saved UFC Tavirlau from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Mircea Coadã notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cricaul FC's Remus Antonoae. Remus Antonoae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eugen Brãgutã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Constantin in the 85th minute of play. Eugen Izãreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Remus Antonoae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Eugen Izãreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Antonoae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Eugen Izãreanu made a precise shot to the right of Remus Antonoae. Cricaul FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UFC Tavirlau had won after a very even match.
