After 3 played minutes Moldovan Fc got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Vulpe. Emilian Pârlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Platon, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Iurie Medelean notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Moldovan Fc's Dan Vanghele. Dan Vanghele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moldovan Fc's Dan Vanghele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Carp in the 18th minute of play. If Iurie Medelean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iurie Medeleans short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Dan Vanghele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Moldovan Fc's zone, Marian Carp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Vanghele came out of the goal and Marian Carp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iurie Medelean in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dan Vanghele, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marian Carp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cãlãrasovca's Iurie Medelean got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Vanghele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iurie Medelean's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Marian Carp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Carp to make the kick off. In the 59th match minute, Moldovan Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Pãduret to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Medelean in the 61st minute of play forced Moldovan Fc's goalkeeper Dan Vanghele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Vulpe was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Grigore Pricop put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Moldovan Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Cãlãrasovca. Petru Bâtcã stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dan Vanghele. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Carp in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Vanghele saved Moldovan Fc from getting behind. If Iurie Medelean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Carp in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Vanghele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marian Carp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Carp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Vanghele having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Iurie Medelean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Vanghele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Iurie Medelean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dan Vanghele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Iurie Medelean came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cãlãrasovca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Medelean couldn't finish the play. If Marian Carp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Cãlãrasovca were the better team. Cãlãrasovca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
